Photoshop: Clouds

This tutorial teaches you how to make extremely simple clouds.

Step 1

First make a new transparent image in any size. This tutorial will be using an image with the size 150x150 pixels. Set the foreground color to a bright, blue (#69ACE0), and make sure the background color is set to white (#FFFFFF).

Step 2

Fill in the image with the blue color, and go to Filter - Render - Difference Clouds.

Step 3

Press CTRL+F, and see the darkness turn into blue. Looks rather simple yet, though. So why don't we keep pressing CTRL+F a few more times, until it comes out more like you'd like it? Now, I pressed CTRL+F a lot of times, so some purple shades appeared in the image.

Step 4

Make a new layer, and repeat the cloud making process. But this time, set the mode to screen. It should look okay by now, but I personally wasn't completely satisfied, so I made yet another layer of clouds, and set it to overlay. The final result is as seen below.

Afraid I don't know, since I don't use PSP. Simply Googling about it will probably help you find out though. :)
